Carlingford County Louth (where McGee was born) and Ottawa (where he died) join forces to celebrate
one of the great Founding Fathers of the Canadian Confederation.

The team behind the Thomas D’Arcy McGee Summer School since 2011 will present, in
collaboration with local Ottawa enthusiasts, a 3-day celebration of McGee’s 200th
anniversary.
The programme will include;

 Traditional Irish Concert with Gerry O’Connor & friends
 Traditional Irish Music Anniversary Sessions (all levels welcome)

 Two unique audio-visual presentations on Irish traditional music;
