The retreat is a culturally unique\, educational event where you can immerse yourself in traditional Irish music and dance with a community of motivated students and gifted teachers. \nNamed in honor of Jim O’Flaherty\, a musician who immigrated from Ireland to North Texas spreading the Irish music tradition through his family\, friends and community\, the O’Flaherty Irish Music Retreat continues with the commitment to helping others learn\, enjoy\, and grow in this rich cultural tradition. Read about our history… \nEach year we invite internationally respected musicians and dancers from Ireland and beyond within the Irish music tradition to teach our classes and perform in concerts held at the Hoblitzelle Camp & Conference Center in Midlothian\, Texas.
